Mediation of the work

Labour mediation – is an activity, by which is realised the cooperation between the employers and the jobseekers in order to stabilize some work relations.

Labour mediation has as a goal the facility of the access to the vacant jobs and the support of the economic agents in order to satisfy the qualitative and quantitative requests for the personnel.

The activities of the labour mediation present the services proposed to the economic agents in form of consulting concerning the personnel policy, the employment policy and the assistance in the recruiting of the personnel, as well as to the jobseekers in form of consulting, vocational guiding, employment, involvement in other activities: electronic mediation, fair of job vacancies.

The services of the labour mediation are proposed by the agencies for free to the job seekers with the status of unemployed and without it and represent the following:

information concerning the vacancies and the conditions of their occupation by the publication or advertising, by the organization of the job fairs; the electronic mediation has as a goal the automatic matching of the offers and of the demands of the jobs through the computer technology; the preselection of the candidates according to the requirements of the offered jobs and in the concordance with their training, the abilities and the interests.

 

ELECTRONIC MEDIATION

Electronic mediation – represents the activity, which has as a goal the automatic matching of the offers and the demands of the jobs through the intermediation of the computer technology.

The activity of electronic mediation is a new one on the labour market, taken from the international experience, within the project „Development of the labour market in the Republic of Moldova”, that was implemented by the Swedish National Labour Market Board during May 2001 – April 2004.

Electronic mediation is an activity, that realizes the fast cooperation between the jobseekers and the employers in order to stabilize some work relations and it is a very efficient activity during the period of the deficiency of personnel. This activity was realized for the achievement of the goal, planned in the mentioned project concerning the introduction of new technologies and models of cooperation with the economic agents and the jobseekers.

The electronic mediation was promoted for the first time in 2003 by the employment agencies of the mun. Balti and district Cahul, which were declared pilot within the project “Development of the labour market in the Republic of Moldova” and made big efforts for the introduction of the working elements of the Swedish practice and may serve as a model of activity for the territorial employment agencies in the republic.
